Human rights

We recognize and work to safeguard human rights, labor rights and the environment. We follow the UN Global Compact's ten principles for responsible business.

The principles are given in our internal Ethical guidelines and in the Code of Conduct that applies to suppliers and customers.

Due diligence assessment
Every year we conduct a due diligence assessment to map our impact on human rights, workers' rights and the environment.

Transparency
We are fully transparent about our work to ensure basic human rights, decent working conditions and the environment. Anyone who wants more information about our work can contact us and we will respond within three weeks. Requests can be sent to: qa@haakonellingsen.no

Notification/complaint
We ask everyone to report if we directly or indirectly violate human rights, labor rights or the environment. The whistleblower will not be punished or suffer damages, and will be kept anonymous where desired. The quality manager reports the notice to the General Manager, who decides on measures to take care of the notice. Alerts are kept informed of measures and the results of measures.
