SMU-7000 / ASV & /SLSV

These valves represent the capability of AST to develop special valves for customer needs.

Assisted Safety Relief Valve (ASV)

  • Standard safety valve with pneumatic actuator
  • Valve opening with either pneumatic or electronic remote signal
  • May be used to depresssurize the vessel in case of fire
  • Valve function test if process medium tends to solidify
  • Overpressure control
  • Overpressure reduction upto 2%

Supplementary Loaded Safety Relief Valve (SLSV)

  • Standard safety valve equipped with a secondary spring
  • Double acting pneumatic piston
  • Controlled by a redundant system
  • May be used when set pressure and operating pressure difference < 10%
  • Leakage through the seats is greatly reduced or elminimated
  • Blowdown can be controlled and kept between 3 and 4%
